Descriptive Writing

Good Day Everyone,

 Today's Lit102 class will be about descriptive writing. Miss Polius has asked that we all come prepared to describe something or someone interesting to us. I will be describing my daughter, i can't wait!

 Accoring to Readingrockets.com, the primary purpose of descriptive writing is to describe a person, place or thing in such a way that a picture is formed in the reader's mind. Capturing an event through descriptive writing involves paying close attention to the details by using all of your five senses. Teaching students to write more descriptively will improve their writing by making it more interesting and engaging to read.

    This was an interesting class which had my attention. Miss Polius has a way of gaining and maintaining my attention as she presents us with the topics in the most simplified way.

    This class wasn't all that for me, because i wasnt well however. I share the same sentiment with you! When i left the class i went home and wrote a descriptive piece because of the way miss polius explained the concept. I thought of so many things i can describe and so i did. The class was informative nonetheless

    I love the fact Miss Polius is passionate about teaching descriptive writing. I was so eager that I wrote my descriptive piece as soon as I got home. I am looking forward to handing in my descriptive piece.

    this lesson was indeed an interesting one where we got to show our creativity by describing whatever we wanted..it was fun hearing some persons descriptions
