Starting a writer's workshop in first grade

I came across this idea on Pinterest, where students in grade one can engage in a writers workshop. This will help students develop the necessary writing skills, which will be needed as they move up to the higher grades. When a teacher introduces writing at the early stages, students will develop an interest and motivation to write.
